Psalms 8:3-4
When I consider Your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?
I am exhilarated when I have a day of surprises and gratitude.
It is Sunday, and I fully expected to spend the afternoon working on Book 3 of my Children of Light series. But little things kept getting in the way. For one, I received an email from Draft2Digital to make sure to update the Book 2 contents, as it is 10 days before the book will be available for purchase. I had been so focused on KDP on Amazon, I totally forgot about D2D. Thank you, Lord, for putting things ‘in my way’! Had it not been for it, I would have missed the D2D deadline, which was today.
So, I am filled with gratitude that God cares even about these little things. We often believe we can only go to God for the big stuff, but that is not the case. Invite God to be in the every day things of your life. Ask him for guidance, wisdom and strength to do all things. He will be there. I promise.

But, I also found a lovely daily devotional by Shauntae Saunders called NOW What?! It is meant for young Christians, but I think anyone can use this to start their day. And, if you like to journal your thoughts, this book gives you lots of room for that.
Here is a link to: NOW What?! (Yup, just click on the words)
